Faith Regional Updates Visitation Guidelines
While ensuring patients receive care in a safe environment has always been and will continue to be our priority, Faith Regional also recognizes the importance of having a support person during hospital stays, procedures, and clinic appointments. The latest guidelines are intended to minimize the spread of COVID-19 while also reducing feelings of isolation and provide support and companionship for our patients.
As of July 1, 2021, Faith Regional is no longer restricting visitation for non-COVID-19 patients. Faith Regional will continue to follow the recommended guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as federal standards through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and require all patients, visitors, and staff to be screened for risks of illness or exposure and wear masks while in our facilities.
Visiting hours through the hospital’s main entrance are Monday – Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitors arriving after 8:00 p.m. must use the hospital’s emergency room entrance.
Faith Regional’s Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) will also reopen to in-person visitation but with restrictions. Visitors to the BHU will need to schedule visits by calling (402) 644-7461. In-person visitation is also currently allowed at St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Care Center and Skyview Villa Assisted Living but needs to be scheduled in advance with the facility. Visitors must call (402) 644-7375 to schedule a visit in advance with St. Joseph’s or call (402) 371-5269 for Skyview Villa.
Before entering any medical facility, Faith Regional highly encourages everyone to self-screen. If you are a patient with symptoms, please call your provider prior to arriving for your appointment.
Please be aware that these policies may change suddenly as the situation evolves.
Our top priority is the safety for all patients and staff. Please be kind to our team members if they remind you to wear your mask. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
