Midlands OB/GYN Announces Transition to FRPS OB/GYN
Dr. Mark Davis, a leader in obstetrics and gynecological care in Northeast Nebraska since 1990, announced today that Midlands OB/GYN will transition to new ownership and will be rebranding to Faith Regional Physician Services OB/GYN effective June 1, 2018. Known for providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services for women of all ages using the latest technical advances, Dr. Davis and staff will continue offering the same compassionate services to patients at their current location, 301 N. 31st Street in Norfolk, under the new name.
“I am excited about this new journey with Faith Regional Physician Services and look forward to continuing to provide high-quality health care to the women of Northeast Nebraska as it allows us to offer more services and enhance the experience for our patients,” states Dr. Davis.
A Nebraska native from Tekamah, Dr. Davis attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for his undergraduate studies and earned his doctoral degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He then completed a specialized residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, also at UNMC, in 1990. Dr. Davis is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, a noted public lecturer and an active member in many other leading medical organizations, including the American Medical Association, Nebraska Medical Association, and the Nebraska OB/GYN Society.
In addition to a new name, patients will also see a new physician at the clinic this September when Dr. Alex Laudenklos joins the team. Dr. Laudenklos is a Monroe, Nebraska native and is currently finishing his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Creighton University in Omaha. “Dr. Laudenklos is a welcomed addition to women’s health services in Northeast Nebraska. I look forward to having him as part of the team,” says Dr. Davis.
President and CEO of Faith Regional Health Services, Mark Klosterman commented, “The addition of gynecology and obstetrics services makes this the 24th specialty offered within the Faith Regional Physician Services network and builds on decades of collaboration between Faith Regional and area physicians aligning with strategic plans to provide women’s health care services to the region to help fulfill the organization’s vision.”
While patients may hear a different name when calling the clinic after June 1st, they can expect to receive the same exceptional care from the same staff with a new name and more options.
