As an emergency medicine physician, Dr. Houghton assesses and treats patients in the Emergency Room at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, NE. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
Born in New York, Dr. Houghton grew up in Virginia and studied biology at North Carolina State University. He relocated to Nebraska to attend both medical school and complete his residency in Omaha.
In his spare time, Dr. Houghton enjoys road biking and science fiction.
